Silke Volkert (Germany, 1978) and Magnus Weightman (England/Norway, 1974) live and work as architects and urban planners in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. As a design team we hope to create the conditions and circumstances to inspire positive participation within our environment. We believe in making places that can cultivate communities and promote a sense of belonging. The design challenge, as we see it, is to unite top-down structures with bottom-up initiatives.
